Panaji, Nov 21: Promising to be different from the earlier ones, the confederation of Indian industry's (CII) film bazaar at international film festival of India, 2006, will have special buyer seller lounge, space for independent film makers and location lounge, officials stated.
"At location lounge, the states with strong film tourism properties will be pitching for shooting locale," said CII officials. While IFFI, 2006 is slated between November 23 to December 3, the four-day-long film bazaar would be inaugurated on November 24 at kala academy.
"The film bazaar is positioned as an ideal networking platform where participants can showcase and promote their services, products, explore new biz opportunities and partnership," CII official release here stated.
Renowned companies like Prasad Group, national film development corporation (NFDC), Hyderabad-based Digiquest, Indian Film Exporters Association, Films Division, Chennai-based Golden Square films, South Indian Film exporters Association, Children's film society of India, Ramesh Deo production, Kolkatta-based Madhushree creations would be participating in the bazaar, this year.
The film bazaar also provides business opportunity to production houses, technology companies and those providing services in the entire value chain of the business process of movie making, CII stated.
"Series of seminars and workshops will be organized focusing on co-production treaties, interactions with global sales agents and scripting," they disclosed.
