Mexico coach Herrera's contract extended


Mexico City, Dec 4 (IANS): Mexico football team coach Miguel Herrera has extended his contract with the team until 2018.

Herrera replaced Victor Manuel Vucetich in October 2013. He was the country's fourth appointment in the space of two months, reports Xinhua.

With Herrera's help, Mexico reached the second round at the World Cup in Brazil before being eliminated by the Netherlands.
