Panaji, Dec 2 (IANS): Thieves broke into a naval hospital in Goa's port town of Vasco and took away a whole range of equipments, including a coffee maker and iron, worth Rs.1.31 lakh, police said Tuesday.
According to the complaint registered at the Vasco police station by S.G. Swamy, surgeon commander at the INHS Jeevanti Hospital, thieves broke into the Naval Area Medical Centre over the weekend and stole an LED projector, microwave oven, a television set, computer equipment, telephones, slide presenters, even a branded iron and a coffee maker among other articles.
A complaint has been filed under Sections 454, 380 and 457 of the Indian Penal Code at the Vasco police station. No arrests have been made so far.
Vasco is located about 35 km from Panaji.
