Mangalore, Nov 18: The Dakshina Kannada police sports meet was inaugurated at the police grounds at Pandeshwar here on Friday November 17.



New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT) president Tamil Vanan inaugurated the sports meet.  MLA N Yogish Bhat was the chief guest on the occasion.





Dakshina Kannada superintendent of police B Dayanand welcomed the gathering.  Additional SP Lokesh Kumar was also present at the inaugural function.



The three-day sports meet will see police from Panambur, Puttu and Mangalore division and also Reserve Police in action.
