Mangalore, Nov 18: The annual gurji festival of lights of Shri Mahaganapathi Temple of Mannagudda was held on Friday November 17.

The feast was inaugurated in by former minister and Congress leader B Ramanath Rai. Mayor Vijaya Arun presided over the inaugural function.

MLA N Yogish Bhat, MLC Capt Ganesh Karnic and deputy commissioner Maheshwar Rao were the chief guests on the occasion.  Hundreds of devotees participated in the feast.
