Mangalore, Nov 15: 'Save Kadri Park', a forum created by non-government organizations to work towards the restoration of Kadri park here, organized various competitions as part of their campaign, on Tuesday November 14 here.
The event coinciding with 'Childrens Day' saw the particpation of several children, as well as artists from various art schools in and around the city.
While the theme of the paintings was "Save Kadri Park', the elocution competition focused on importance of parks in urban areas. The highlight of the day was a 100-feet long painting by artists of Bornfree Artist Group here.
