Kuwait: NCWAK holds get together along with sports day

Kuwait, Nov 24: Navachethna welfare association Kuwait (NCWAK) organized their get together and sports day, at Mishref Garden, on November 14.

The event was inaugurated by lighting the sport flame with sport torch by advocate J K Alva accompanied by children.

President Ashok D Salian welcomed the participants and crowd on the occasion. Hasan Yusuf, chief coordinator of united associations of Karnataka (UAKK) also addressed the gathering.

Members poured in full strength and participated in various games. Kids were entertained with the sack race, pin the tail and musical chair, while the elders both gents and ladies participated in the Volleyball, Throwball. The crowd cheered Kabaddi and Tug of War. Breaking the Pot, Tarai-Katta and couple games added the extra entertainment and thrilled the participants. Housie was played in the evening with enthusiasm.

Lunch was provided in Banana Leaf to all the members. Tea, snacks and Mumbai chaat counters were busy round the clock from morning to evening organized by PPPS restaurant.

Individual and team winners were felicitated with medals and gifts as token of appreciation by the managing committee members and sponsors. The lucky draw winners were also announced.

The managing committee members along with volunteers managed the event.The sponsors also played a vital role in making the event a success.

Anil Shetty and Purshotam Kukayan compered the programme.

Pascal Pinto, Vivek Shetty Belman, Divin Menda, Pravin Menezes, James Paul and Pandari Shetty were present for the programme.
