Managua, Nov 18 (IANS): The Nicaragua football team is set to play El Salvador in a friendly match at the Independence Stadium in Esteli Tuesday.
The last time the two teams played each other was in 1992 World Cup qualifiers, reports Xinhua.
The game will mark Javier Londono's coaching debut with the Nicaragua team, the Nicaraguan Federation of Associated Football (Fenifut) said.
El Salvador's 21-man line-up includes six players on contract with foreign teams, including left-footed winger and team captain Arturo Alvarez, who plays for Hungary's Videoton, and forwards Nelson Bonilla (FC Viitorul, Romania) and Pablo Punyrd (Stjarnan, Iceland).
