Fuzhou (China), Nov 16 (IANS): India's Olympic medal-winning shuttler Saina Nehwal, who clinched her maiden China Open Super Series Premier title Sunday, said it was a "great feeling" to win the tournament.
"So happy to win my 3rd title this year. Great feeling to win the China Open. One of the toughest tournaments," tweeted Saina.
World No.5 Saina clinched the women's singles title at the $700,000 tournament by overcoming Japanese Akane Yamaguchi 21-12, 22-20 in 42 minutes at the Haixia Olympic Sport Center.
The Hyderabadi had also won the Australian Open Super Series in June and the India Grand Prix Gold in January.
Meanwhile, her compatriot Kidambi Srikanth caused a huge upset by ousting two-time Olympic champion Lin Dan in the men's singles summit clash.
