Ullal, Nov 14: One calf in half lived state, huge quantity of raw cattle meat and 15 cattle were found in an illegal slaughter house functioned at Chembugudde when team of Ullal police conducted a raid on the reliable information on the wee hours of Friday.
On the information from Bajarang Dal, police conducted a raid on Friday morning and seized the house-cum-slaughter house belonging to M C Bava. The accused is said to have fled from the place. As many as 15 cattle were tied in the premises of the house. However it is said that the police cracked down on the house, while a cow was readied to slaughter. They also recovered a calf in half-lived state.
This was the second raid on the house as police earlier raided the same house which slaughters trafficked cattle from surrounding places. The police seized a vehicle used for trafficking and registered the case. The raid was conducted under the guidance of sub-inspector, crime Rajenedra.
