Mangaluru, Nov 13: He is not a politician nor a social worker. He enjoys offering service for needy when required. He is the finest epitome of individuals who show that if there is a will to offer service, there is way.

" During those hard times, my father had a petty shop and an ambulance near Wenlock. After discontinuing my education from 5th standard, I started to run Matador ambulance," says K Gangadhar renown ambulance driver in the city.

K Gangadhar, ambulance driver by profession and owner of Sri Ganesh Ambulances services began his work with one ambulance. Now he owns 13 ambulances through his hard work and efforts in the city. He is into this profession from past 23 years providing service upholding the human values. Gangadhar has won hearts of several people through his selfless ambulance services. Moreover he is a kind and good human being who is down to earth.










When he gets calls on accidents, deaths or any other emergency issues, he rushes to the spot with his ambulance to fetch patients or mortal remains.

Usually when Gangadhar gets calls from police department to take away the mortal remains he rushes to spot. Moreover, he not only lends his vehicle but also involve himself to collect decomposed mortal remains in whichever state it may be.

Even if the dead body is completely decomposed, he never hesitates to carry it. Reciting his past example he said " I lifted the completely decomposed body from well without hesitation. I use only gloves and do not use any mask".

Gangadhar believes in having a good relationship with people. Regarding this, he says " Our profession is that kind we cannot ignore anybody".

He also recalled one experience " Once a person committed suicide by falling under the moving train. His body was shattered into pieces. It was very hard to get the body. But I still collected the mortal remains. This was the most difficult experience of my life."

About his profession, Gangadhar said "I like this profession because I can help the people."

Gangadhar has three children. His son is a mechanical engineer and also looks after his father's business. He has two younger brothers who are also into same business. They own Ganesh Ambulance services and provide ambulance services to the people.

 

Offers free ambulance service to needy

People also talk about free services given by Gangadhar to poor and needy people. Sometimes he comes across people who are very poor and in need of ambulance. He does not charge anything from them.

 

His message

Gangadhar who has witnessed several people losing their life due to suicide says " No person must even think about committing suicide. The person who commits suicide may die, but their family also has to suffer after their death".


Gangadhar has been felicitated by various organizations for his social service. He is a true inspiration to everybody in the society.

    I always saw this Gentleman in carrying the lifeless bodies in different incidents portrayed by daijiworld, and assumed he must be a government employee.
