Mangaluru, Nov 12: Congress has allergy towards Hindus. The state government has been continuously discarding one community and supporting the other said K Jayarama Shetty, former MLA.
Shetty was speaking during a protest meeting held at a ground near Thokkottu bus stand on Wednesday, November 12 by Vishwa Hindu Parishat and Hindu Jagarana Vedike to protest against anti Hindu policies and against thrusting of Goonda law on Hindu organizations by the state government.
He said that it is condemnable to see legal cases registered against activists who fight against terrorism, conversion and love Jihad. In the rape case in Bangalore the police inspector Rafik had hesitated to register a case against the suspects even after the girl lodged a complaint. The incident had echoed in the assembly and speaker Kagodu Thimmappa had questioned Minister Vinay Kumar Sorake. The incident is enough proof that the Congress ministers support rowdyism. The government has prepared to file complaints against five people under Goonda law in Ullal police station limits.
Superstition law and stay on anti cow slaughter bill are meant to attack the Hindu way of thinking. A situation has come where the entire society will stand for their rights. The protests in the district is a part of such agitation said Vishwa Hindu Parishat district president Jithendra Kottari.
"Why is there no law against notorious people in Ullal? The state government has prepared to thrust Goonda law against Choni, Pakku and Vikram who have fought for the society. Why has the government not applied Goonda law against accomplices of Dawood Ibrahim and Chota Shakeel including Rashid Malabari, Madooru Isubu, Dawood, Sahil Madooru Nasir, Bodda Lathif, Asgar Ali etc. Why is that law not applied in the case of Deralakatte Medical student main rape accused Safwan?" asked Satyajit Suratkal, state convener of Hindu Jagaran Vedike.
"There is no provision in law to transport animals for slaughter. Holy Quran also opposes it. The police and the government called those complainants who went to lodge complaint against alleged sexual assaults against girls as mad. Is it justified to to support persons who stabbed Abhishek making him to lose his kidneys?"He asked.
"Those who had attacked SI Bharathi with knives when she had gone to arrest alleged transporters of cattle, Konaje SI Sudhakar who had gone to arrest alleged kidnappers and rapists of Deralakatte student and attackers of Kadri SI and Mangalore traffic police constable are all of one community. The government has ensured that the suspects are not punished in the police station. However the police have tortured Kavoor's Charan who was not involved in any serious offense. The police have tried to close the death case of drug addict Vikas which happened in Goa." he added.
"The MLAs and Ministers who touch the dead bodies and go to temples, houses and Poojas without having bath do not know the value of sanctity of Hindus. If somebody throws cow dung on the face or slaps, the cases are registered as attempt to murder, kidnap, robbery, attempt to rape etc. As per Muslim shariyath, Muslim youth should not wear gold chains. How then are the cases of robbery get registered against Hindus?" he asked.
