faces of smugglers,murderers,terrorists,pimps/prostitutes etc are not shown to public. if media is there the criminals faces are covered. petty crimes then the culprits along with our police force have a photo opportunity with media.

A good treatment should be given to the duo. Police should be rewarded so that they are active in catching all type of robbers, criminals, ba#vas, haftakars, speeding vehicles, any one creating problems in the society. First hand good beating should be given in the front of the society.

Dear Ajay, Nobody can agree with your comment as they are not a notorious smugglers /rowdies or rapist. Apparently lack of proper of education and guidance lead them to a wrong path. These young guys need a proper guidance from their friends and relatives to reform their character. Hope our Police Department and Judiciary system will assist them to bring them back into the mainstream of the society otherwise their future would be ruined. Hope they will reform.

Not a shame, now it is the trend among the youngsters regardless of the religion, caste and language.Greed, luxury and lavish lifestyle without earning prompting these youngsters to involve in all these unwanted activities. They are looking only for branded touch screen iphone,shirts,jeens/pants,shoes without any efforts from their side with easy burglary, theft, sexual abuse,molesting,eve-teasing etc etc. They want to shine among their friends with their stolen, burgled things without thinking about the implications aftermath. They don't even bother to respect their own parents, kith and kin, relatives. They got their own world.God only knows where these youngsters are heading? No patience,no tolerance. To some extent parents too be blamed for their too much of pampering. That too much of pampering, children get advantage, exploit it and try to blackmail the parents. In some of the cases even parents are unaware, where their children are?where they are going, what they are doing?More the children go out and stroll in beaches, parks, malls, more the advantage, freedom parents got. This is called modernization. No control on our own children.Time has not changed but people, their attitude, approaches, way of life-style etc have been changed.More the advancement, modernization, more the disadvantages, lethargy, less benefits.Everybody wants comforts at others cost.We cannot blame anyone. But the supreme power Almighty God is always keeping a watch on everybody. He will not spare the guilty and will be rewarded whoever do the good things in their life.It is simply classic and question of time. How you sow,how you reap.

What a shame ! Christian community is famous for hard-earned money. Men anyway work and look after the family but even women, allow them access to a few feet of soil, they will grow vegetables/flowers and add-up to the family income.

    Lydia,
There are some bad elements in our society also.
But luckily our larger society discourage wrong doing, and tries hard to bring them back to mainstream.

@ Lydia, Dont be cheap in patting ones own back by saying my religion has better people. By doing that you are hurting the people belonging to other minority religion.
I think you have a lot of scope to grow up further and be matured. People who have not lived in outside world and restricted themselves to their place have generally the feeling which you expressed.
    Come on, grow up bhai.

Amith Shetty, Valerian D'Souza, Abu Ayesha, JB & Rita,

You all are aware that youth in our community is held together in their growing years, taught catechism every week and reminded about ethics in good a human being. If certain elements err out of the way and involve in activities such as this, all efforts put in by community leaders and religious heads are futile.

Highlighting crimes such as this will remind other members, to refrain from doing such things and convincing them that such deeds bring disgrace to the community.

See their age ? If they live out of stealing at 19, imagine what they will do in future ?

If some of you feel me saying 'mine is better than yours' prove otherwise ! Conduct meetings to educate the youth so that our society will be a better place to than pointing fingers at other religions each time an offence too place !

@ Lydia - this bloated ego of yours is hurting the entire community. Nobody here commented after looking for the name of the culprits. Every religion teaches good values and no religion say Go and steal to make your living.

You badly need to go back to catechism class again and learn humanity comes first then religion. When we cannot stop even a priest from wrong doings what can you expect from others to follow.

I understand, obviously, our self respect hurts, when fellow members does some thing wrong and bring bad name.
See this forum is meant to share our honest views, that's how we grow.
    We are all imperfect people.
I hope these boys also will come out of their ways and become responsible citizens.

@ Lydia, we can not expect that 'our people are good and we should continue to be good, others are not so good and they should continue to be so, so that we will be considered to be good always forever'. This is wrong, we should expect the whole world to be good and equal.

Arresting them will be a lesson to many who are going astray.
Punishment should work as deterrent to crime.
These youths do not know, no one can harm them or do good to them more than they do to themselves.
No one can spoil them unless they allow.
No one can stop them to work, unless they are unwilling.
