Muscat, Nov 10 : 'Predict Gulf Voice of Mangalore season 4 winner n Win Rs 10,000 prize money contest' was conducted bydaijiworld.com, sponsored by event organizer MCCP Muscat has been won by Jacintha Pinto a Moodbidri native, presently residing in Kuwait. Jacintha was chosen from a lot as a winner since there were more than one correct answers.
The response to the contest was tremendous, with 21,453 total entries received. Out of the total entries, 643 people had sent right answers.
"I extremely happy to learn about winning the contest, I have been supporting Morvin Quadros from the time of GVOM Mangalore was announced in this season, he is part of our church choir and talented singer. People here in Kuwait are happy to see him as a winner. Also I guessed Joshal as female winner because people were talking about her singing talents and many were predicting her as a female winner ." said Jacintha to daijiworld.com
Meanwhile, Morvine Quadros was received at the Kuwait airport on Saturday night by the friends, well wishers and many others. Though flight landed one hour late from the scheduled time, people were waiting for him to give grand welcome at the airport. Incidentally, Jacintha Pinto too was one of the well wishers who was at the airport to receive Morvin.
Morvin, speaking to daijiworld thanked the MCCP Muscat for organizing fantastic final show.He also expressed his gratitude to Kuwait organizers Youth Recreation Centre and founders Lawrence Pinto and Louis Rodrigues for supporting throughout.
"GVOM title helped me to improve and continue my singing further, I am grateful to every one who supported me in Kuwait as well as in other parts of the world." he said.
The finals of Gulf Voice of Mangalore was held in Muscat on Nov 7, 2014. The 5th season of the GVOM finals will be held in Bahrain, the event will be jointly organized by Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in 2016.
