Bengaluru: Cases against Ivan and Eshwarappa on rape remarks

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (RJP)

Bengaluru, Nov 10: Cases against MLC Ivan D’Souza and former deputy chief minister and leader of the opposition in Vidhana Parishad K S Eshwarappa have been lodged at Vidhana Soudha police station for their remarks on rapes.

The complainant is T Narasimhamoorthy a lawyer and social activist. The complainant has demanded appropriate legal action on Ivan D’Souza and Eshwarappa for their remarks.

T Narasimhamoorthy in his complaint has said that the remarks made by these two politicians are of mean nature and the remarks demean the dignity of women.

“I do not think the home minister or the chief minister considers everyone as their own. Maybe when their own daughters are raped they might act differently,” was what Eshwarappa had said November 8 in Bengaluru.

Ivan D’Souza in reply to Eshwarappa had said "What if Eshwarappa's wife is raped? What will he do then?" on November 8
in a press meet in Mangaluru. Later on the same day Ivan had called a press meet again to apologize for his remarks.

The remarks by the Congress and BJP legislators had attracted protests from various organizations throughout the state. And now the matter goes to police station.

What is the use of cases against bad remarks?. When ministerial birth is given to hate mongers in the present day circles, we general public are least bothered species in Indian political circles. Our importance is on the day of voting only, rest is with political hands. Still many of us are blind folded and fight in the name of religion, caste and gender.

All the politicians have to follow Code of Conduct. There should not be personal grudge and using unparliamentary words with each other. If they act like this what about our children who also use such words. Therefore I request all the politicians not to use such language and they should be the role models to our children.

    KINDLY CORRECT YOUR STATEMENT :-

BOTH ARE NOT ELECTED PEOPLE, BUT REJECTED & DEJECTED PEOPLE, WHO USED BACK DOOR ENTRY FOR "HOLY" ASSEMBLY

LET US FIGHT FOR CANCELLATION OF ENTIRE VIDHANA PARISHATH TO AVOID BACKDOOR ENTRY.

IF SOMEONE LOOSES ELECTION, HE SHOULD WAIT TILL NEXT ELECTION.

AND IVAN , WILL NEVER WIN ANY ELECTION IN HIS LIFETIME.

AND ESHWARAPPA, WILL BE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR RAKSHASA ROLE IN YAKSHAGANA...( with due respect for yakshagana artists)

    these are national shame...

see DVS.. how miserably he failed modi exam... he lost golden opportunity.. he had no vision & mission for railways....

only competent,delivering,non-corrupt person should be our choice ( DON'T BIASED BY CASTE,GENDER).

    DOWN DOWN ESHWARAPPA,IVAN.

Now both will try to convince the Judge that “Your Honour….. A rape is deemed to be rape when female partner screams with pain when she doesn’t feel pleasure” So, remarks against wife is not vulgar since she enjoys the play but remarks against daughters are not the same. Ivan will further try to convince the Judge that, any remark by BJP Leaders leads to rape but all remarks made by CONGiss leaders are read out from holy book only. At the end honorable Judge will scream that pls don’t try to rape me!!!!
