Shivamogga: Suspect in Nandita case says he has nothing to do with it

Shivamogga, Nov 9 (DHNS): The CID team has expedited the probe into the mysterious death of Nandita, a 14-year old student from Thirthahalli. The team has taken one of the suspects into custody for interrogation.

The team had quizzed three young men, accused of abducting the girl. During investigation, the team found that two of them were not with the girl when the incident took place. The team is said to have examined the records of the cellphone calls made by them.

The team took the third person into custody to inquire him further. The team reportedly visited Jayachamarajendra hospital in Thirthahalli town on Saturday, where the girl was treated initially after she complained of vomiting.

The CID sleuths quizzed the doctor and staff nurse who treated the girl on October 30.

Meanwhile, Irfan, who was in police custody for interrogation, said he has been dragged into the case for no fault of his.

Irfan, a mechanic, told Deccan Herald that he had nothing to do with the case. “Police interrogated me in many ways and this has tarnished the image of my family in society. I am forced to suffer for not committing any mistake.” Irfan said, “My house and

Krishnappa’s (father of the girl) house are situated at Balebailu in the town and we are neighbours. We have no vengeance against anybody. However, we have been dragged into the case.”

Referring to the red car, he said, “I have Maruti Zen car and not Maruti Omni as mentioned in the complaint. But my car, parked in front of the house, was stoned by miscreants on November 1, after the death of the girl. A group of people stoned my rented house,” he said.

He said “It hurts me very much as our community members are also distancing themselves from us.”

Referring to the incident that took place on October 29, Irfan said, “I had left home for garage on that day at 9.30 am. Later, I went to Nalur in my Maruti Zen car for business purpose. But the complaint stated that my car has been used to abduct the girl to Anandagiri Hill on the outskirts of the town.

“If it’s true, it should have been recorded in surveillance camera installed on Azad Road as all the vehicles have to pass through the road to reach Anandagiri Hill as there is no other route. I request people to allow us to lead a respectable life in society.”

Sick people. A child has lost her life and you fight over Religion. Be a Human First. And why a father will spoil his own daughters name it nothing had happened? Keep aside your Religions and think as humans first. Really shameless people fighting and bringing religion over every matter. One day Allah will make such a thing that no one will come to help you when you are in some problem nor your friends nor Religion if you misuse religion like this

THIS CASE LOOKS LIKE-FATHER and CHADDIs trying to take advantage over death of a young girl(may be suicide or some other unknown medical reason).
YADDI n SHOBHA company should do some NATIONAL level work(they are responsible MPs in a GOOD LEADERSHIP) instead of street fighting. IT is SHAME to see SHOBHA on road fighting with poor policemen to get arrested in BANGALORE. WE feel shame our udupi MP is such a CRAP stuff.
WE expect at least some QUALITY WORK to the UDUPI from OUR MP in MODI GOVT rather than this cheap stunts/work.

Please catch hold of Santosh Poojary who is a Bajrang Dal Activist and Nandita father and interrogate them. It appears that Banjrangi is trying to give this entire story a 'Rape' twist to gain political mileage for BJP.

This is part of their dirty game plan for Congress Muktha Bharata.

BJP-Bajrangis can stoop to any level to attain power.

Irfan's statement looks very clear and transparent..He should not be treated as rapist till truth comes out..
Please check again his two important points..

1.Irfan has Maruti Zen and not Maruti Omni
2.Surveillance Camera ..Let police check whether he was in the garage or with business related place/people when girl was kidnapped..

Hand over th case to CBI because this incident has created big mess and shame to Karnataka and politicians..CBI will crack it..

Krishna, why are you highlighting only Gujarath riots as if no othor riots happened? How about 1992 riots in INC rules states, 1984 Sikh riots, 1993 Mumbai riots. How come you are not seeking justice for Kashmir Pandits who were displaced and homeless in their own mother land. Don't use different yard sticks as per your convenience.

Irfan…. We hope so you have not done anything wrong…..else indeed you have nothing to lose anymore!!!! Just imagine when your own community members trying to evade your family just even in doubtful nature. If indeed you have done anything wrong which caused this girl’s death means you deserve this treatment. One thing is sure in this case that even your own community members feel ashamed with this incident means how serious they are about this kind of crime. This is not the crime against any community but the crime against our own women generation and if this situation continues like this they will lose confidence to walk and live freely in this society
