UAE, Nov 8 (Khaleej Times): All ministries and federal departments in the country are to be closed from Tuesday, December 2 to Thursday, December 4, with work resuming on Sunday, December 7.

On the occasion of the UAE’s National Day, all ministries and federal departments in the country are to be closed from Tuesday, December 2 to Thursday, December 4, 2014, with work resuming on Sunday December 7, Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, has announced.

Al Hammadi said on Friday that the announcement is being made as part of the directives of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and following the orders of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Al Hammadi noted,” On this occasion, we extend congratulations to the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Supreme Council Members, Their Highnesses Rulers of the Emirates, wishing them good health.”

He also congratulated the UAE and the Arab and Islamic nations on this national occasion.
