felt like laughing while reading responses for my comments. I didn't mean anythign on this instance. I also mentioned investigation should reveal the truth. But my generic comment was fact. It's nice to write on page. but those who experience this mess, I mean problems created in few places by these people , so called outsiders.. it's so messy.. read a comment by Sanjay, Mangalore. that is one of the instance... so we need to think of both the sides.. so I commented...

Professional competence and skills is totally lacking in the Indian police. In a case of unnatural death like homicide and suicide, the body is the primary evidence and should be taken into custody immediately. All persons irrespective of who they are should be excluded from coming anywhere close to the body. All these fundamentals have been violated by the police in this case.

Very sad to see a young life is lost. Depression is a common sickness todays world. There are medicines for this and also counselling and it can be cured.

it's a dual party deal. We welcome outsiders, same way they should also respect the localites. It's not that they do what ever they want irrespective of the problems created for localites... then it will be hatred which will build upon. Even I am seeing many outsiders here in Mangalore. they don't care and try to dominate the locality. This is not fair. Now in this case a growing girl lost her life. This looks nowhere related to localites nor any harrassment... it looks depression which is not see whether she is a outsider or localite. thorough investigation may reveal the truth. Let's not derive anythign now.

What a foolish comment! Suicides happen even among people in Mangalore - Mangaloreans, specifically. Its funny how racism prevails - even at the time of someone's death. Shame.

Very unfortunate. Feel sad for the parents who are making everything to bring up the children in the best possible way. Children without thinking commit suicide for tensions/problems. Share your grief with your friends/parents/relatives who have vast knowledge and your best friends

May be something wrong has happened within friends circle, or within the group which has depressed her and to take this extreem step.
This case should be given to CID.

Incase you didn't know, mental depression is a condition where a patient isn't usually fully aware or in control of his/her behaviour or the repercussion of it. Depression might seem like any other condition but there's much more to it than meets the eye.

Very sad that this student took this drastic step.
Abdulla, we mangaloreans are very accommodative, but that is being taken for granted. I stay next to a PG with lot of guys from Kerala stay. You should experience the nuisance they create. Drink whole night, scream and once i objected, they commented in malayalam. i asked them to speak english atleast if not kannada, they asked me to learn Malayalam!!. Everyone in the vicinity is fed up. It seems police complaint also did not help to get rid of the menace. You welcome these outsiders?

Very sad, The concern people, who kept the body lying in the ambulance, should have little respect, at least cover the body with a white cloth, making these scared girls to sit in front of the corpse. The girls look shocked...
