Bantwal, Nov 5: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh leader, Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat, said that he has total faith on the honesty and sanctity of Sri Raghaveshwara Bharathi Swamiji of Ramachandrapur Math. 'No one can hope to split the Hindu society by making unfounded allegations against Swamijis. He is of such a lofty stature that no individual has the potential to find fault in him or make allegations. The Swamiji will wriggle out of this situation and begin guiding the society again soon,' he added.
Speaking after handing over 19th annual Gowramma Memorial Endowment prizes at a function held at Mani Peraje on Tuesday November 4, Bhat noted that the society has of late, been giving less importance to religion and culture, as a result of which Ramayan, Bhagawadgita, and Mahabharat are being neglected. 'Hinduism is backed by a history dating back to thousands of years. This religion has thrived because of the penance undertaken by our ancestors. Raghaveshwara Swamiji has made a lasting impact on the society by spreading knowledge and discernment through his Rama Katha programmes,' he explained.
It may be recalled that Bhat had recently been summoned by criminal investigation department to depose before it relating to the suicide of Shyamprasad Shastri, brother of Diwakar Shastri, whose wife has charged the Swamiji of rape.
