Mangaluru, Nov 2: Amid increasing repeated sexual assaults over the minor school girls in educational institution, State government will be constituting Task Force Committee.

Addressing the press meet at Mangaluru International Airport on Sunday November 2 , chief minister Siddaramiah said " A task force committee will be formed within two days, which will hold meeting with parents and management. The priority of the committee will be in preventing sexual assaults of minors in school. The constituted committee members will be from police, educational, women and child welfare departments. This committee will make institutions to follow the guidelines issued by the government".

He also said "The sexual assault cases on minor girls took place at private institutions. Employees of these institution have committed this offence in their premises. Employees are appointed by management itself. It is difficult to stop these appointments by the government. Hence while appointing the employees, the management should check their past background"

Hitting out at opposition, chief minister said law and order in state haven't deteriorated as alleged and it is stable. He said that the government have not failed to uphold the law and order in state and strict action has already been taken against offenders who were involved.

Speaking on kidnap and sexual assault over high school girl at Thirthahalli, chief minister said " The investigation is going on. I am sure that truth will come out."

As answer for reporters questions on increasing crimes like murder, kidnap and moral policing in district, he said " During the BJP's tenure there were excessive moral policing incidents. BJP has no moral right to demand resignation of George. During their tenure, law and order was completely deteriorated." He added.

Chief minister speaking on invoking the Goonda Act against the sexual offenders said " Already amendment has been enacted, it will effectively be implemented. Goonda Act can be invoked directly on sexual offenders. Once if the case is registered under Goonda act, bail will not be granted. And one has too remain in prison for a year. Under the chairmanship of MC Nanaiah, expert committee has been constituted. Government will consider committee recommendation on preventing the sexual assault."

On appointing the Mangalore City Corporation Commissioner, CM said that "Government has not followed the law on implementing MCC commissioner and it will be done very soon.

State minister B Ramanath Rai, UT Khader, Abayachandra Jain, MLC Ivan D' Souza, MLA Moideen Bhava, Deputy Commissioner AB Ibrahim, Mayor Mahabal Marla, Deputy Mayor Kavitha, ZP CEO Tulasi Maddineni, Police Commissioner R Hithendra, SP Dr Sharanappa and others were present on this occasion.

CM Arrives at Mangalore Airport and Road Traffic on that road goes stand still.!!My concern is who is a VIP? Our representatives whom we elect are our leaders. But when they arrive in city why do we inconvenience general public? Vehicles on maravoor road were stopped for almost 10 mins yesterday evening during CM arrival. What happens to those many who are going to airport to take a flight? Why cant we have a system that his motorcade has a siren when that happens people will surely give you a way. Why should roads be blocked?
Also I felt what a national waste with almost 50 vehicles in line with so many official vehicles and other vehicles, in his motorcade? Do we really need all this hype about a CM arrival?
Can someone clarify Protocol for these VIP arrivals, as am lost for words with such huge loss for nation..!!

Mr. CM, do you know that by doing such non-productive rounds in the state, how much money you are wasting? Will this kind of tours bring any change to the current state in Karnataka. Is it not the time to cut on travelling and see ways to improve the developmental condition in Karnataka? Because of your visit ( nonsense) a lot of business and economy is effected because you are provided with Security and shops and business premises are forced to close down on your visit. You seem to be quite intelligent CM, think all other consequencec and chao's caused because of you. It's a wate of your time and people's tax money.

Dozing Ministers are just waking up at Airport. Rai is still dozing and proof is there in 2nd Photograph. So CM forgot what to say to Media. He was thinking about the dream He had in Flight. He was dreaming about reaching Delhi through next Election to join Gandhi Family.
India chased Kings and Queens away and now Royalty is in different style called MINISTER. When I saw all those Policemen in turbans, got a feeling that a King is arriving from Britain. All this show at the Airport unwarranted at the expense of Public Money.
I just wonder if Corruption is falling under Law and Order. If it is,then Siddu is right because Corruption is stable(means every Work is done through Bribe).
What a sad story that Elected People run the streets as rowdies without fear before winning the election. Once they win, fear gets into their Blood and need Escorts everywhere they go.

Law & order totally collapsed in Karnataka due to inefficient CM & HM. To please Christians & to keep their vote bank intact, Mr. George has been made a Home Minister & not on merit. Both CM & HM completely failed in delivering their duties. The internal struggle for power within Congress at the cost of common citizens & the result is in front of our eyes (Free hand to Criminals, Rapists, Murderers, Goondas)
