Mangalore, Nov 1: On the occasion of the 104th death anniversary of Fr Muller, who worked relentlessly to bring succour to the poor and suffering, two new buildings were inaugurated here on Saturday November 1 at Fr Muller Hospital, Mangalore.
Dr Aloysius Paul Dsouza, Bishop of Mangalore inaugurated and blessed Don Bosco-2, which is a boys hostel for post graduates.
The new hostel for the post graduates has 5 floors, 277 rooms and 40 air conditioned rooms.
Another new utility building consisting of a homeopathic centre, skills lab, pharmacy and a new parking area was also inaugurated by the bishop.
Fr Patrick Rodrigues, director of Fr Muller hospital, Fr Richard Coelho, administrator of the hospital, Fr Rudolf Ravi Dsa, administrator of medical college, Fr Roshan crasta, assistant administrator of hospital, Dr J P Alva, dean of the medical college, Dr Sanjeeva Rai, chief of medical services, Sr Ilin, nursing Superintendent were present on the occasion.
On the occasion management and bishop felicitated the contractors and engineers who designed the two beautiful buildings. Christopher Noronha, the architect of the building, Arun Kumar and other engineers were felicitated on the occasion.
