Mumbai, Oct 30: A 43- minute documentary film showing the life sketch of late Pramod Mahajan was on Monday released at Globas Cinema, Bandra in north west Mumbai on the occasion of 57 birth anniversary of the leader.

Late Mahajan was shot at by his younger brother Pravin on April 22 and finally Pramod succumbed to the injuries on April three.

The documentary prepared by his son Rahul, was released in presence of la te Mahajan's brother in law Gopinath Munde , city BJP chief Prakash Mehta and other BJP leaders apart from Rahul and his wife Shweta.

Rahul Mahajan was trained a pilot and later started his own production company and produced several serials.

The documentary shows the birthplace of late Mahajan at Mehaboob Nagar in Andhra Pradesh, his school and home in Ambajogai, college in Pune, the school where he served as a teacher and the office of Tarun Bharat where he worked as a sub-editor.

The documentary also showed photos and speeches of the late Mahajan and also the statements of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani, Shiv Sena Chief Balasaheb Thackeray, Union Agriculture minister Sharad Pawar, BJP president Rajnath Singh about late Mahajan.

In the documentary his mother Prabhawati recalled how Pramod made efforts for the family after the death of father. Speaking about her third son Pravin she said ''I am not interested in taking his name and he is dead for me on April 22.'' Apart from the comments of Munde and state BJP treasurer Pratap Ashar the documentary ends at the funeral procession of the late Mahajan.
