Margao, Oct 28: While people's eyes are all set on the Navelim constituency with the thought as to who will get the Congress Ticket for the forthcoming Assembly election, education minister Luizinho Faleiro, a Congressman who hails from the same constituency has convened a Congress workers' convention on Sunday, October 29 on Dr Francisco Luis Gomes Ground, Navelim.

More colour has been added by south Goa Lok Sabha member Churchill Alemao, also a Congressman, having announced that he was an aspirant for Congress ticket. He says he is confident of getting a Congress ticket from Navelim.

In the bargain, people are baffled about who will finally get the Congress ticket.

Alemao also held a party workers' convention in Margao last month.

On Sunday, interestingly, the convention called by Faleiro will be addressed by chief minister Pratapsingh Rane, in the presence of GPCC president Ravi Naik and other Congress leaders, said Faleiro.
