Bangalore, Oct 27: Sri Raghaveshwara Bharathi Swamiji of Ramachandrapur Math has stressed that he remains unmoved by the personal vilification attempts made by Premalata couple against him. He clarified that he is in preparedness to face any future allegations, without losing his cool.
'I understand that devotees of the Math are hurt at unsubstantiated charges being leveled against me. But I am in readiness to ably withstand this assault. I have been extending all possible cooperation for the ongoing investigation. For all questions raised by the investigating officers lasting 32 hours relating to allegations made by Premalata, convincing replies have been provided. As investigation is continuing, giving statements openly on the issue may not be desirable,' he said, claimed a release from the Math.
The release also stated the Swamiji has expressed unflinching trust on the judicial system of the country and investigating agencies. 'Investigation on the issues is on. I am sure that pure truth will come out soon. I hope to come out clear and unscathed of all the allegations,' the Swamiji said through a statement issued on behalf of the Math.
The Swamiji however said that he was hurt by lowly remarks passed by Premalata in the presence of the media against Shankara and former head of the Math, Sri Raghavendra Bharathi Swamiji, as well as himself. He said he condemned these remarks.
