    RIP Anil!!

Adding to the woes of the already high accident rates, in recent times many pedestrians walking innocently on the sides of the roads have been mowed to death by irresponsible and merciless drivers now, in the absence of footpaths in most places, walking along roads too has become dangerous due to increase in vehicle density, speeding, and reckless driving and all the more ABSENCE OF FOOTPATHS, but who is bothered, another young husband/father/breadwinner has been killed, next will be some other 'unfortunate' souls turn!!! Jai Hind!!

We all shall die one day on the road, thanks to the (1) hungry road contractors, (2) corrupt RTO for blindly issuing driving licenses and fitness certificates and (3) reluctant pedestrians to offer help and hospitals to treat accident victims. About Police, it is not worth mentioning at all.

Well said Amin but you have left out the car driver who caused the accident, our lenient traffic laws and the society as a whole (you and me included) who do not care for road safety. Most of these accidents we see these days can be avoided if we drive carefully, respect the rights of others, follow traffic rules and signs and most of all be patient while driving.

We show our emotional outburst as and when an accident occurs and the situation continues thereafter for the worse. Is there a solution for this yes there is or at least our authorities can try - change our present Road Traffic Laws to be very strict with severe punishment and very heavy fines for the offenders, honest policing and implementation of the new laws.
