Bangalore, Oct 23: The Karnataka Legislature Committee on Women and Child Welfare headed by Congress MLA Shakuntala Shetty has sought a detailed report from the State Home Department on the sexual assault on a three-year-old girl at a school at Jalahalli in the City.
The Legislature panel held a meeting in Vidhana Soudha on Thursday and sought the report from the Home Department before November 6.
Members of the panel condemned over sexual abuse of the girl and sought details on installation of CCTVs in the school, persons against FIR cases registered and steps taken to ensure girl students safety on school premises.
The panel sought a report in connection with the assault on Director General of Administrative Training Institute (ATI) Rashmi V. in Mysore.
The Home Department has been asked to submit a report within 15 days.
