Mangalore, Oct 21: Tulu film 'Chaali Polilu' has been duly awarded with a clean U certificate. The film which has been produced by Prakash Pandeshwar under Jaya Kirana Films production banner is aiming for a Diwali release.

The much awaited music of 'Chaali Polilu' was released in the first week of October to appreciative reviews and feedback.

'Chaali Polilu' is a complete laughter fest with nearly 90% of its exciting screenplay devoted to comedy and the rest to scintillating drama and action. For the first time in Tulu cinema, Jaya Kirana Films have used two high tech digital cameras to shoot 'Chaali Polilu' from its inception to the last curtain call.

The screen space is focussed not on one but three stalwarts of Tulu theatre namely Devdaas Kapikaad, Navin D Padil and Bhojraj Vamanjoor.

The film is written and directed by Veerendra Shetty Kavoor and stars Devdaas Kapikaad, Navin D Padil, Bhojraj Vamanjoor, and Padmaja Rao of 'Mungaaru Male' fame. V Manohar, from Dakshina Kannada has composed the music while the background music has been given by Manikanth Kadri. The action scenes in the film are spell bounding.
