SDPI disappointed at upsurge of communalists in Mah, Haryana

Media Release

New Delhi, Oct 20: The Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) has expressed disappointment at the upsurge of communalists once again in the Indian polity following the verdict of Maharashtra and Haryana legislative assemblies’ results which were declared on Sunday. It however asserted that there is no communal polarization in the country, but dreams on development and trade brought out the results.

SDPI national president A Sayeed in a statement squarely held the Congress party responsible for not learning lessons from the 2014 Lok Sabha elections debacle and doing nothing spectacular to regain the confidence of the electorates, especially that from the minorities, in last five months. The committee of the Congress set to analyze the factors that led to Congress party rout in the Lok Sabha elections in its report failed to pin point the root causes. The report was an eyewash as its efforts were only to safeguard Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi from the blame and put it off tangent from soul searching and introspection to rejuvenate the party.

On the other hand, Sayeed said, the hype of Modi wave created by the BJP and ably supported by the media barons was a just a mirage in Maharashtra. The so-called wave failed to garner a simple majority in Maharashtra where it had claimed to form the government on its own following neck-breaking 30 election meetings addressed by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a short span of time. However, the presence of elusive Modi wave failed to work its magic contrary to the last Lok Sabha polls has also been denied by the senior Shiv Sena leader and former Lok Sabha Speaker Manohar Joshi while reportedly interacting with media persons in Mumbai.

He said that it is true that the electorate has rejected the Congress and its former ally NCP but it is also equally true that Maharashtra people have not accepted the BJP by not granting clear mandate to rule the state. The BJP’s success is only partial. It will now need to eat humble pie and return to its ally Shiv Sena, which humiliated it to the hilt during the electioneering, to seek support to form the government.

Sayeed said, political parties across the spectrum should ponder seriously the rise of fascist forces to grab political power. They should plan out ways and means to stop meteoric rise of these forces as it can prove to be very disastrous for the plural society in the country.

SDPI national president A Sayeed you are also as communal as BJP. You have no right to talk about communalism as your party is based purely on religion and supporting only one religion. Other members are just to show that your are a secular which is not true.

Many times, u too have tactic understanding with BJP to defeat Congress and to confuse, distract the minds of the general public, by giving this type of press release. You can fool general public but now, public have become more aware. ULLU mat banavo. Enough of this type of filth.

because of dalits and obc votes only, bjp won 72 seats in UP and got majority in haryana and maharastra.

daliths, brahmins, kshatriyas, every one are hindus and all have equal standings in hindu society.

gone are the days where some selfish people created
    divide within our hindu brothers.

modern hindu generation have woken up against this artificial divide created by few people within our community for thier selfish interests.

modi came from obc community who became pm of india and bjp president amit shah is also a obc.

During this year’s Independence Day one of the School in Kerala removed Vande Mataram from its programme after threatening from workers of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), since they claim some of the words in the song were against the belief of the one particular community. When the issue appeared in the media, SDPI justified their conduct by saying that a number of parents complained that some words in Vande Matraam and the gesture namaste were against their religious belief.

Tell Mr. Sayed, this is what your definition of secularism?

It is a "Modi Wave" only..No BJP wave..Because BJP as a party is yet to achieve goals..Mr Modi did it in Gujrath..thats why he ruled Gujrath for 15 years !

I agree wtih Mr.KA D'silva comment. Congress lost due to minority appeasement policies..at the end lost both majority as well as minority..! Congress can come back IF...

    1. Modi Govt doesnt do any type of development in five years
2.Priyanka takes over as Presdient Post from Sonia (she is inexperienced, still she can control)
3.Rahul Gandhi takes total rest from active politics..

Rahul cant take rest because he is so much busy in visiting cyclone affected areas yesterday that too being a crucial counting day. Never faced single media camera. Journalist like Arnab & rahul kanwal of times now and headlines today were atlast hoping for still picture of congress vice president yesterday. That didnt happen. I would not be surprised if Robert Vadra changes his surname in the court to be read as 'Robert Gandhi'.We will have some uneducated and slave minded people following him. Fact is that they issue only policies of Minority appeasement, which never benefit any minorities because they never implement it and in turn Majority thinks other way and at the end congress lose minority as well as majority !
what we need is policies are based on Economic conditions, not based on minority, majority, case, creed, group, native sate, native place, support etc,

    2. The BJP rises to 123 from 40 odd..in Maharashtras..You call it

    3. he has single handedly given the BJP -282 in the Lok Sabha for the first time...which nobody in his wildest dreams dreamt...You call it 'No Modi Wave'
O.K. 'No Modi wave' Then what?
