Mangalore, Oct 19: The agitating VHP leader Jagadish Shenava has ‘come to terms’ with the police department, with agreeing to the Commissioner R Hitendra who assured he would take action against sub inspector after DCP crime submits the investigation report in the case without holding the latter in suspension.

With this, three day deadlock over the issue came to temporary halt, even as the VHP and Bajrang Dal withdrawing the Kavoor Bandh that was called for Monday, October 20. The Dal activists informed they would continue the agitation, had the Commissioner failed to act upon the report as he promised on Sunday October 19.

The commissioner speaking to daijiworld said “suspending the sub inspector without considerations of the investigation report will sound prejudice”. He conveyed as soon the DCP readies the report and submits it to the commissioner the action will be taken against Umesh Kumar on the basis of the inferences in the report.

However, on the other hand Jagadish Shenava argued the Commissioner guaranteed that the DCP crime would file the report today evening and the action against Umesh will be mostly taken by Monday evening. Shenava told he had taken the victim Charan and his wife to Commissioner’s office to impart the seriousness of the problem.

The commissioner conveyed that the protesters seem to have understood that Umesh Kumar could not be suspended until the investigation report arrives on the table. He reiterated he would only act upon the report.

Earlier in the afternoon the MP of DK, Nalin Kumar spared some time with the protesters and alleged Mangalore City Commissioner and officers were working like agents of Congress party. He, however expressed the VHP and Dal would not withdrew the protests until the alleged officer was suspended from his post to conduct fair investigations.

In my opinion there is something fishy in this episode, may be to some extent it appears that the whole matter is stage managed, ...., dangerous trend, if these kind of socio organizations allowed to interfere & allow to prevail their say in law keepers affairs, then one day hindustani police system may follow the path like that of our neighbour (it is alleged their military forces are managed/ maneuvered by radical islam forces - courtesy Times now arnav's prime time show).
If any injustice is involved, there is a clearly laid out procedure, these kind of street show (by pulling political force) is not a noble/ civilized approach.

Ex MLA Yogesh Bhat is protesting here for such trivial matter. But he has not protested against that Andhra thug who vanished with all those Building materials worth crores of rupees of dismantled Lady Goschan. That Telugu Crook was said to be friend of Yogesh Bhat. So,Mr Bhat please clarify why you have not recovered that amount from that Andhra Crook who had initially forwarded the proposal of reconstruction of the hospital to Karnataka Govt through your office with your recommendation.

Where was the humanity of this bunch of like minded people when they attacked women in amnesia and morning mist. Whole world has witnessed how cruel they were. It is not difficult to guess why policemen punished him. However let the guilty be punished.

In my opinion - it is very clear that The Commissioner would act on the basis of the report. He has not assured that the Sub Inspector would be suspended. Rightly the concerned Police Officer would be suspended only if found guilty.

Bacchali Dala guys are indeed jobless!

Are these unemployed, uncouth and uncivilized men true representatives of Hindutva???

Forget about 24th rank...Mr. Zero Performance MP of Mangalore deserves ZERO rank for supporting a street side goonda and Sangh backed trouble makers.

Look dear Mangaloreans ...here is your M.P who loves to support 'trouble makers'. With such 'Zero rank' MP's Mangalore will become another shanghai.

It's a shame for democracy that an elected representative is supporting a rowdy.

Like Ravana or any demons were destroyed, these hatred merchants will be perished and we shall witness it. No human is spared from the wrath of divine law. Any injustice or supporter of injustice shall face the music. A third class leader like Shenava is an attention seeker and Nalin is falling into a trap.

Why he didn't follow Christian leaders to Bangalore against Somshekara report? He is MP for Hindutva not for Mangalore.

It is inhuman treat him way Police have treated him.
Do the Police have guts to treat Batkal or Malbari in the same Manner or any other minority for that matter even if he is a terrorist
