Mangalore, Oct 19: “Congress has rejected the Justice Somashekar report on church attacks for political reasons,” said former chief minister and BJP vice president B S Yeddyurappa in Mangalore.
“Congress has the tradition of abandoning all the good works and projects started by BJP. In this case also, the Congress has done the same.” Yeddyurappa added.
He was speaking to reporters at Mangalore airport on Saturday after his visit to the city.
Yeddyurappa continued by saying “BJP government had taken proper actions against the miscreants after the church attack. And later it had appointed the Somashekar commission for further investigations. But now the Congress has rejected the report itself for political reasons.”
The Karnataka government had recently rejected the Justice Somashekar commission report on church attacks.
