Mangalore, Oct 21: District police observed police martyrs day on Saturday October 21 at the police headquarters here.
Western Range IGP Satyanarayana, district SP B Dayananda, deputy commissioner Maheshwar Rao and ASP Lokesh Kumar were also present on the occasion.
The dignitaries paid floral tributes to the members of Karnataka police who laid down their lives in performance of their duties to the greater glory of the country.
Several police officials and locals also participated in the programme.
