Margao, Oct 19: The much-awaited Dhindi festival of Hari Mandir Devasthan, Margao will be celebrated on November 3rd. The preparatory rituals will commence on October 29 and will conclude on November 4.

History has it that this practice of holding the festival started in 1909 and has been maintained for the last 96 years. The festival has a lot of significance for Madgaonkars.

Every year the organizers arrange an entertainment programme on the festival. This year also they have planned to religious and entertainment programmes.

This year the prominent singers from various parts of India will perform during this festival.

Dhindi is mainly known for its fireworks program, which will be held near the Sate Bank of India this year.
