MANGALORE, Oct 19: Passengers taking a flight from Bangalore to Mangalore can reach the port city early (before 9.30 a.m.) from the last week of this month as two airlines have changed their winter schedules.

Passengers from Mangalore can also travel to Bangalore late in the evening from the end of this month. At present, the first flight from Bangalore (Jet Airways) lands at the Bajpe airport here at 10 a.m. and the next flight (Air Deccan) at 10.20 a.m. The last evening flight from here to Bangalore (Kingfisher Airlines) takes off at 5.05 p.m.

From October 30, Air Deccan's flight will depart from Bangalore at 8.20 a.m. and land here at 9.20 a.m. It will take off at 9.35 a.m. and reach Bangalore at 10.35 a.m. It will also introduce an evening flight between Mangalore and Bangalore the same day.

The flight from Bangalore will depart at 4.15 p.m. and arrive here at 5.05 p.m.

It will depart from here at 5.20 p.m. and reach Bangalore at 6.10 p.m., according to sources in Air Deccan.
