Kundapur, Oct 12: ‘Kadatha Yajnya’ formed to look into hundreds of pending files that are not attended concerning different matters in Kundapur is not completed even after the expiry of scheduled date of Saturday, October 11.
Kadatha Yajnya held in two parts in all the taluks in the state has been completed to the extent of only 75%. However the remaining 25% of files are still remaining to be attended.
The work in Kundapur is going on for the last ten days. Inspectors, revenue officials and village accountants have indulged in sorting out the pending files. The help from contract basis workers also have not been able to complete the inspection of the file.
In all, 16 files of 2011-12, 38 files of 2012-13, 428 files of 2013-14 and 2014-15 are cleared, informed Rajaswa inspector Thimmappa Shettigar. The work will take place in the office of Village accountant on Saturday and Sunday. It is to be seen if the officials improve their performance after this.
