Zilina, Oct 10 (IANS) Slovakia for the first time beat Spain by a score of 2-1 in Euro 2016 qualifier in Zilina.
It was Spain's first loss in 36 qualifiers for the European Championship and the World Cup dating in 2006, Xinhua reported.
Slovaks started better and opened the scoring in the 17th minute through Juraj Kucka's free-kick.
The European champion fought back and substitute Paco Alcacer equalized with eight minutes remaining.
