Bantwal: False Leopard attack news creates anxiety among locals

Bantwal, Oct 9: False leopard attack news at Kundadka on Thursday, October 9, created an atmosphere of fear and anxiety among the locals in Bantwal.

A news spread that a Leopard jumped over a man named Dinesh and attacked him in Kundadka of Vitla Mudnooru grama when he went closer to the Leopard trap on Thursday afternoon, Oct 9 and the locals have admitted the injured to Puttur private hospital. Besides this, the news was also broadcasted in a private TV channel.

Some people even gathered in front of the private hospital to know the news. When news-reporters enquired at the hospital, they were told that no such person was admitted there. Meanwhile, when some people telephoned Dinesh on his mobile, it was switched off. The anxiety of the people increased with the developments.

However, Dinesh was available on the mobile in the end and said that he was working near his house, putting an end to the fear and anxiety among people.
