These days I travel a bit less by trains. But I have to close the door many times when I see them open. Right now I am sure I won't fall. But I am afraid for the young children and others who may be at risk.

Very sad incident and completely preventable too.

-Heart felt condolences to Shabir and his family/friends.

-It's high time we come up with a design where the wash basin in the train is not next to the main entrance/exit of the train-it is very risky for old people as well young kids.

-The entrance should be at the middle of the compartment.

-Approach should be at platform level so that even young and old people can easily get in/get out and even wheel chair accessible

-Auto closure of doors while train is running with safety latches to open the door from both inside and outside in case of emergency and power failure..

-Let's not wait for many more death like this

    - Increase stopping time at station to accommodate all people who can board and get down (On a lighter side-rather than stopping for a picnic before the Ullal Bridge due to lack of Signal)

-Make it Shabir Ahmed Safety Protocol and start working for this..
