Mangalore, Oct 13: The coalition government has decided to send a delegation to the Prime Minister and the President to place before them the facts relating to communal violence in the city.
Speaking to presspersons here on Thursday October 12 following a meeting with district officials and different community leaders, deputy chief minister Yediyurappa said that the report on the violence will also be forwarded to the governor.
The delegation is expected to meet the PM and the President next week.
Yediyurappa also attacked the Congress and accused the opposition of blowing things out of proportion. He also denied having received any resignation letter from district in-charge minister B Nagaraj Shetty and said that the minister has changed his decision after much coaxing from party members.
