Dubai, Oct 4: St Francis Xavier Kutam, UAE celebrated the achievement of our own Mudarangadian Ivan Dsouza, MLC Karnataka State Government in Winney’s Restaurant, Karama Dubai. They congratulated Ivan Dsouza as he has been elected as the Member of Legislative Council of Karnataka Government.

Facilitating programme started with the prayer conducted by Stanley Castelino, senior member of the association. All the attending presidents accompanied the MLC to the dais. Asha Mathias, vice-president welcomed the guest and the members.

Joseph Dsouza gave a scintillating speech explaining about all the memories of Ivan D’souza from his childhood to date. Jhonson D’silva gave a complete biography of Ivan D’souza.

All the presidents honoured Ivan D’souza with a customary shawl. Senior members Joseph D’souza and Steven D’sa honoured him with the memento. Stanley Castelino and Leena D’souza honoured him with fruits.

In his addressed speech, Ivan D’souza cleanly explained about his achievement which was fruit of hard work and committment. He also explained about the vision of goals and the work required to achieve goals. He offered his services wherever necessary to the community members and the needy and explained about the partnership which he could extend in whatever assistance required in the government papers and other requirements.

He also explained about the initiatives taken to build the surroundings of Mudarangady village and the initiatives taken in the city of Mangalore and surroundings. He also invited to take the assistance of his office which is located in the Mangalore Municipal Corporation and the office and quarter at Bangalore. He thanked all the community members for their goodwill and prayers.

James Mathias thanked Ivan D’souza for attending the programme. Anil Prakash D’souza compered the whole programme.

At the end all had sumptuous meal along with the MLC and it was a memorable event.
