Jaipur, Oct 4 (IANS) Top seed Mahesh Mangaonkar led the men's field into the semi-finals of the inaugural Squash Challenger tournament of the JSW Challenger Circuit at the Jaipur Club here Friday, defeating Frenchman Matias Tuomi 11-6, 11-7, 11-2.
Mangaonkar takes on Angus Williams of England who beat crowd favorite Velavan Senthillumar 11-5, 11-8, 5-11, 11-3.
Also making it to the semi-finals were Harinderpal Sandhu, who beat Spain's Carlos Cornes Ribados 11-5, 11-5, 11-8 and England's Adam Murrils, a 11-8, 9-11, 11-6, 11-8, winner over Denmark's Kristian Frost Olesen.
In the women's draw, France'sAChloe Mesic beat Pakistan'sASadia Gul 11-7, 11-7, 11-7 and will meet top seeded Birgit Coufal of Austria who defeated Indian Sachika IngaleA11-2, 11-4, 11-2 in just 20 minutes.
In the bottom half, Egypt's Nouran El Torky beat Jindal Squash Academy student Urvashi Joshi 11-4, 11-3, 11-6 and will face South Africa's Cheyna Tucker who had proven to be too good for young Sunayana winning 3-0.
