Sangram Singh to share fitness mantra on TV


Mumbai, Oct 1 (IANS): Wrestler-turned-actor Sangram Singh will appear on TV show "Simply Baatein" to share his fitness funda.

The chat show, hosted by actress Raveena Tandon, addresses issues related to womanhood with fun and expert advice from renowned personalities from various fields.

The episode will emphasise on the need to exercise, stay fit and eat healthy.

Sangram, along with a host of experts including Payal Gidwani, will also talk about myths realted to fitness.

The episode will be aired Oct 5 at 7 p.m. on PAL.

Durga Puja time for Sanjeeda Sheikh

Actress Sanjeeda Sheikh, seen as aggressive Durga in her show "Ek Hasina Thi", is travelling to Kolkata Thursday to enjoy the merriment of Durga Puja festival.

"Ek Hasina Thi" story is set in Kolkata and her visit is being organised on public demand.

"Kolkata is a very beautiful city and I have heard that it gets completely transformed during Durga Puja. I am very happy that my fans have accepted 'Ek Hasina Thi' and my character Durga Thakur so warmly.

"Such encouragement from fans really inspires us and drives us actors to perform well and never disappoint them," said Sanjeeda in a statement.

The actress will visit Victoria Memorial, Kalighat Kali Temple and Marble Palace during her one-day trip. Sanjeeda also plans to gorge on Kolkata's famous puchkas and momos.

The weekly show is aired on Star Plus at 8 p.m.
