Mangalore, Sep 28: Two lady robbers who tried to snatch a gold chain from a small girl in a cloth store were caught by the people and were handed over to police.

The incident took place near Milagres, Hampankatta on Saturday September 27.

These robbers while trying to snatch the chain, showed food to tempt the baby and stole the chain and were trying to escape from the spot. But when the baby started crying, girl's mother inquired her and came to know that the chain is missing. The girl also showed the two lady robbers who snatched the chain.

Later the locals caught hold of the robbers and gave them to the nearest police for investigation. After asking few questions, the police handed them over to the Bunder police station for further inquiry.

After the inquiry, it is said that the robbers were attending random marriages to steal the belongings of others.

I agree with u my dear brother. Even muslim community at large has to understand the concept of hijab n purpose of wearing burkha..burkha is prescribed to believing women to cover their modesty .. lower their eye sight n remain pure, pious n unattracted by others but by her life partner.. but nowadys burkha has become a fashion n symbol of status..some wear very very good expensive burkhas n some poor women cant afford to buy one..one can see some of poor muslim women wearing faded n torn burkhas with some stitch patches ...burkha shoud not be tight n it should b lose n comfortable n shd nit expose body parts..but today u can see how tight burkhas are n how fashionable. By wearing such tight, designed burkhas, instead of warding of others eyes,, they are attracting the attention of others..the very purpose of burkha is defeated n our women folk enjoy showing of their burkhas to others....its not concept of burkha...burkha is to protect the modesty of woman n not to expose her beauty or body or body curves....to others except for her husband....forget about stealing ehen clad in burkha....these men n women do not understand whst burkha is n no one taught them but it is forced on them by their elders as these elders saw their elder women folk wearing it...let us educate our women folk about hijab n its devine laws n its purpose etc etc..so that we can fine tune burkhs users..

It is hard to believe Person wearing burka stole chain.I dont think it is a woman of muslim community. Also possible a woman wearing burka for the sake of theft. We didnt hear till now such cases often. It is also not leftout being so.Everywhere there are blacksheeps in every Group.may be the Lady was in Need of Money ,but very doubtful. If a Lady Police search that Lady truth will comeout. It can be a man behind this burkha.because it is easier with the cover,to undergo his work.but it is shameful to do this and whole community is misunderstood.

People are having problem with burkha not with bikini or nudity...The hate mongers find burkha as the crime than the crime itself ...I have seen video of someone stealing with churidar...Is it wise to ban churidar...come out of your narrow mindedness...If you find people from particular community involved in crime you think of his attire and customs rather than the crime....I am not here to save the criminal book them but dont mock burkha...what if I mock saffron dress or tali or sacred thread or nuns dress will you feel happy....sameway it hurts faith of other community...better stop mocking on religious attire for better world ...blame the criminal not his/ her attire

Brother Shanawaz, If you travel by bus to Kasaragod from Mangalore. You will be surprised to see the conductors struggling to charge tickets when its crowded from Burkha clad women and the woman show the hand backwards that her husband will pay. Finally the conductors lose patience and make her identify the person and when they dont,he makes them pay for the ticket fare. Its a common practice, you can check with anybody .This topic iam raising is not with communal minded or to put you down but a fact which happens in reality.

Until the doomsday burkha n hijab cannot be banned by Gods creation..God has to reveal a verse banning burkha n its never ever going to happen..as said earlier we believe in n follow n practice devine laws..if some one goes against devine laws then there is a provision of punishment in devine law..for eg..rapist n sodoms to face death..adultery to face stoning till death n blood is forgiven by taking fidiya or blood...those spread evil on earth are to face death...this is islamic devine laws. If the accused are proven guilty law of land should take its course..thats it..media cant try anyone n cant judge anyone...

One or two years ago in one of the well-known city colleges, a burkha clad woman who used to enter the college as a 'student'and used to steal laptops and mobiles from the staff rooms and from the students' bags. For some reasons college authorities pushed the case under the carpet.

Most of the crime which happen under disguise of burkha are not from burkha cladding community but from other who uses burkha for their crime and malign particular community...Even during last ramadhan fast there are quite large number of non burkha cladding women pouring to mangalore wearing burkha from a particular community to get alms....Now it as quite increased in mangalore and last time police arrested these fake burkha clads....There are dongi babas same way there are dongi burkhas ....You cant blame saffron color of dongi babas or black burkha of a muslim women...!!

Few days back one lady caught red handed with her group while extort- ing money by wearing burqa,so banning burqa should be best option. As I said earlier it is easy to do crimes in wearing burqa. Those who wear burqa should show their faces else it would be dangerous,

look my dear friends, wear burkha or not, that dosent matter, were ever wearing burkha any body caught doing theft etc. u are saying about they got caught and got punished on that. u are thinking is just like. if son does the crime punish whole whole family, it dosent work like that, change mindset. Crime has no relation with Burkha, its just a crime. Nothing related to comunity, Say me Without Burkha dint any Crime happens, How many cases u Want me to mention here,1000 or lakhs. Pls send them to andaman or jail them forever...police should go deep n investigate. Criminals need to b eliminated....professional thieves....shameless women...doing unethical things behind the sacred hijab/burkha..burkha is for protecting ones modesty n not for stealing n doing anti social activities....their husbands should divorce them immediately or else they too are partners in the crime..the jamaath should boycot them. No mercy for those who spoil the sacred attire.

that dosnt matter man or women, when they caught they ll be punished, prosecutors have better way to deal with. but just for this reasons u cant say ban burkha, we are followers of a religion in which we are asked to hide our beauty for spouse, not to expose. some are misusing i want them to punished severely, and their hands to be chopped.
