Mangalore, Oct 6: The Bar Association and district judiciary will be honouring 16 senior advocates who have served for more than 50 years in the district on Saturday October 7 evening.

The programme has been organized on the occasion of golden jubilee celebrations of state High Court.  The felicitation programme will be held at Town Hall on Saturday evening.  The programme will be inaugurated by Chief Justice Cyriac Joseph of High Court.

The programme will be presided over by High Court judge R Gururaj.  A souvenir too will be released the same occasion.

This was announced by Bar Association president Monappa Bhandari at a press conference on Thursday October 5.
