Indian women's compound archery team claims Asiad bronze


Incheon, Sep 27 (IANS) The Indian women's team won the bronze medal in the compound archery event of the 17th Asian Games at the Gyeyang Asiad Archery Field here Saturday.

The Indian team comprising Trisha Deb, Purvasha Sudhir Shende and Jyothi Surekha Vennam won 224-217 against Iran's team of Sakineh Ghasempour, Maryan Ranjbarsari and Shabnam Sarlak for India's first medal from archery in Incheon.
