New Delhi, Sep 25 (IANS): The annual Fenesta Open National Tennis Championships will be held at the Delhi Lawn Tennis Association (DLTA) Complex here Oct 6-18.
While the main draws of men's, women's and U-18 categories will be held Oct 6-11, the qualifying rounds will be held Oct 4-5, a statement said Thursday. The U-14 and U-16 tournaments will be held Oct 11-18.
This is the 20th edition of the tournament and to celebrate that the sponsors - DCM Shriram Ltd - had earlier this month announced that the total prize money had been doubled to Rs.18 lakh.
It was also announced that the senior category winners will get wildcard entries for the 2015 Delhi Open while the runners-up will get qualifying wildcards.
For the U-18 categories, the winners will get qualifying wildcards for Delhi Open while the U-16 winners will get main draw wildcards for the Asian Juniors in April 2015.
