Mangalore, Oct 3: Velocis '06, a two-day fest organized by the Science department of St Agnes College was inaugurated on Tuesday October 3 morning.

The fest was inaugurated by Dr U S Krishna Nayak, dean, A B Shetty College of Dental Science.

Earlier the programme began with a welcome address by Prof Ronald Mascarenhas.  Thereafter the students presented a colourful welcome dance.

Cheryl Mascarenhas introduced the events of the fest. Sowmya Rao proposed the vote of thanks.
