Report and pics from Rajtilak Naik in Panaji

Panaji, Oct 2: To mark the World Tourism Day in Goa, the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) showed a kind gesture towards the Special Children in the state by organizing a special cruise trip for the physically and mentally challenged children.

Most of the children were from the 'Sanjay School' (One of premier schools for physically and mentally challenged children in the state and also one of the largest in Asia).

This was one of the rare occasions wherein the special children got a chance to sing, dance, eat and enjoy with the nature and spend some unforgettable moments of their different kind of life.

The Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) Chairperson Fatima D'Sa had also accompanied the group in the middle of the river Mandovi. The Children were shown Reis Magos Fort and Raj Bhavan, the official residence of the Governor of Goa during the cruise trip.

Children were also shown some of the traditional dances of Goa. One does not know where time will take these children in the coming years but it was certain that these children had a time of their life.
