New Delhi, Sep 22 (IANS): Kidha Siksha Pratisthan from Bangladesh defeated Afghanistan's Afghan National Army School 3-2 in their Group H match of the 55th Subroto Cup Under-14 International Football Tournament here at the Ambedkar Stadium Monday.
Bangla striker Mohammed Jewell scored a hat-trick to earn full points for his team after the Afghan team levelled twice.
In Group G, Government Model High School, Chandigarh, beat Uttar Pradesh's Army Boys HRDC 2-0 with Jeakson and K. Singh scoring on either side of the break.
Emerald Heights School, Madhya Pradesh, drew 1-1 with Bhutan's Loseling Lower Secondary School in the group's other match. Shivam Pratap struck for the Madhya Pradesh side while Dorji restored parity for the Bhutan school.
In the third match of the day, IPSC Vallabh Ashram's MGM and V.N. Savani School, Gujarat, downed Sri Lanka's Zahira College 5-1. Siddharth scored four times while K. Mishra netted once for the Gujarat side. Arosha scored for the Sri Lankan college.
