Indian women shuttlers settle for Asiad bronze


Incheon, Sep 21 (IANS): Indian shuttlers had to settle for the bronze in the women's team event of the Asian Games as they lost their semi-final encounter 1-3 to hosts South Korea at the Gyeyang Gymnasium here Sunday.

Though India's Saina Nehwal won the opening singles encounter, P.V. Sindhu, P.C. Thulasi (both singles) and the doubles combine of N. Sikki Reddy and Pradnya Gadre lost the next three matches.
