Mumbai, Sep 20: Dr Suresh S Rao Kateel, was unanimously elected as Executive Committee President of Bombay South Kanara Brahmins
Association (BSKBA). BSKBA was established in 1925 to provide suitable career opportunities to people who migrate to Mumbai metropolitan
city.

In the election held for the post of president recently, Dr Suresh Rao, who had earlier contested for elections, defeated his closest rival Mohan Ballal by 672 votes, getting 82% of the votes. Besides that all the other nine candidates in his group who stood for elections also have won the elections.

Dr Suresh Rao was the former executive president of the Association of Medical Consultants, Mumbai. He is the managing director of Sanjeevani hospital at Andheri east. He was the founder trustee of Sanjeevani Trust Mumbai. He was also instrumental in Kateel Sri Durga
Parameshwari Temple Pre University College. He is also an advisor to Kannadiga Journalist's Association, Maharastra.

Dr Rao is the son of Kateel Sanjeeva Rao and Kathyayini Rao. His wife is Vijayalaxmi S Rao, daughter Pallavi Kalluraya and son-in-law
Raghavendra Kalluraya. Dr Shrathi is another of his children. 

He is the resident of Juhu. Several elite people have expressed their happiness on the election of Suresh Rao and hoped that a new hall and structure may be built for the association.
